Full Day Mixed Sportfishing Charter

New to sportsfishing? Maybe you have a couple of items you want to tick off your bucket list? Or do you just want to cram as much action into your day as possible. Our mixed sportfishing trips are an ideal introduction to sportfishing where you can target a broad spectrum of species and participate in a variety of techniques. We recomend choosing any two techniques on the booking form to custom build your sportfishing adventure.

If popping and stickbaiting is your thing, this is the trip for you. It’s not uncommon to encounter GT’s over 30kg and Spanish Mackerel over 20kg. We spend the day working the structure, casting the pressure points and hunting for schools of bait where we know these large predators will be lurking.

Up on the reef flats there is action a plenty with a plethora of species all readily willing to take a lure. Some clients say this is the best way to spend a day as you get a really good up close look at the reef and a massive variety of fish species. Although the tackle is down-sized that doesn't mean the fish always are.

Full Day Switchbaiting Black Marlin
Your chance to get up close with a Black Marlin.

Ever hand fed a black marlin before? This about as close as you will get to it. This has to be our favourite method to catch black marlin.
We tow baited teasers behind the boat. Once a fish is raised in the spread we draw the fish closer to the boat, by retrieving the teasers and slowing the boat. As the teasers come within pitching distance, approx 10 - 15 ft, we pitch the bait to the marlin; and quickly remove the teasers. You are now in hand to hand combat with a black marlin.
