Under Construction Pt 3

The week before last I was lucky enough to witness the joining of Insidious' hull and deck pieces. It was an important milestone in the construction process, and one I was glad to be able to be a part of. I'm not going to ramble on too much in this post, I would rather let the photos tell the story.

Deck hoisted ready for fitting to the hull. The deck inlay hoisted ready for insertion Custom Foredeck The customised foredeck with plenty of casting space. Hooker Boats have been very helpful with all the customising, nothing has been too much trouble. There was a lot of work in this part of the project alone getting everything smooth to gain as much casting deck as possible. Aft Deck View Aft Deck View Two-become-One The moment of truth 2 become 1 Joining the transom Joining the transom, making sure it's solid ready for the twin Yamahas Transom-open A view from the aft wing of an open deck, there is plenty of room on this vessel. Hull-Complete Console and Helm seat in place, she really looks like a boat now. Transom-View Rear view of helm seat and console, with the cut out for the upright fridge. Console-Front Front view of console, there is plenty of storage in there.
